William Kolok
Sculptor Wood & Stone

Artist Statement

William Kolok is a sculptor who creates art in wood and stone. The individuality of his art lies in the combination of stone, wood and often found objects. While manipulating these materials, he finds enjoyment in the physical work, the thought process, and the development of creating.

His work ranges from intimate sculptures for the home or office to inviting garden sculptures; from abstract stone or wood in corporate headquarters to large outdoor pieces suited for sculpture parks. Kolok's liturgical sculpture include a unique wall of crosses covering a 10'x 28' space in a Methodist church, an inspirational 7' limestone font, and an 8' limestone, alabaster and cherry wood tabernacle sitting majestically in a Catholic chapel.
